Last week we went to Shoiba beach in the south of Jeddah, and stopped at this farm on our way back. The weather was, if you recall, at its best. The bedouins are so simple, friendly and warm people, masha Allah! He was very kind and courteous. He lives here with all his animals, and they are not for sale!

Local residents love visiting Makkah after Hajj pilgrims have returned back, because it's empty! These pictures were taken a couple of weeks back during a weekday. A local Qur'an school had organized a trip for its tiny tots. So lovely they looked in their attire performing Tawaf and learning about Sa'ee!

RIYADH – Anyone who visits Riyadh these days will see hundreds of vehicles driving on the roads leading out of the city. During this time of the year, Riyadh residents, especially families, love to spend their time in the cold weather of the desert and enjoy lush meadows in the wilderness away from the city. People also enjoy the view of stars in the night which twinkle brilliantly during this time of the year.

The Saudi Gazette has translated a report from the Saudi Press Agency on Lajab Valley in Jizan. (The pictures are from SPA's website.)

JIZAN – Wadi Lajab of Al-Reith Governorate is one of the most important tourist sites in Jizan region. A large fissure in the eastern part of Al-Qahar Mountain, 150 kilometers from Jizan, the valley is the preferred destination for thousands of tourists every year.
