The Lunar Eclipse Prayers I Didn't Know Print E-mail

Riyadh-Lunar-Eclipse-6-15-11

Experience

ON the evening of June 15th my children and I witnessed the much publicized lunar eclipse on our friend’s rooftop. We watched in awe as she took the photo you see here. We had to leave before it was over as my husband was waiting downstairs to take us home.

On the drive home my husband, not knowing of the eclipse, commented that they were praying Isha late in my friend’s neighborhood. We both thought it odd but said nothing more about it.

The next day I received a copy of the awesome photo in my inbox. I showed it to my husband and it was as if a light bulb went off, “Oh!” he exclaimed, “That’s why they were praying last night!”
