OUR present methods of teaching which are inflicted on by far the vast majority of children the world over are the single biggest cause for killing the imagination that every child is born with and making them into square blocks which fit our own frightened, constrained and slavish worldview. Those who comply we ‘pass’ and those who challenge it and refuse to succumb, we ‘fail’. The occasional among those we ‘fail’, go on to great fortune. The vast majority disappear, never to be heard from again. Destroyed by the education system they didn’t deserve or ask for.

IT’S one of the first things you’ll hear in most English-medium classrooms for children, the “ABC song.” Young children are instructed to sing the song over and over again... “A B C D E F G…” Some parents even stress compulsively if their children don’t get every letter (and tone) of the song right. But is rote memorization of the English alphabet really a necessary milestone in acquiring English reading and writing skills?

TODAY, even native English speakers and those already proficient in the English language are trying to find the right English teacher for their needs. Job requirements, professional development, college-entrance examinations, formal speaking engagements, and essay writing assignments are a few areas in which English speakers are finding the need to sharpen their already-proficient English skills. The urgency to improve one’s English appears even greater amongst non-native English speakers who are not already proficient in the language.
